Police investigate robbery at Smithfield service station, South Australia

Police are at the scene of a service station robbery at Smithfield.

About 6.15am on Wednesday 18 November, a man entered the Main North Road service station allegedly armed with a knife and threatened the attendant. The suspect jumped the counter and stole cash and cigarettes.

The suspect was last seen running off across Main North Road into the Blakeview area. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper and mask.

Police patrols, with the assistance of Dog Operations Unit PD Arnie and Axe, have set cordons around the area to search for the suspect.
