Police are investigating a serious assault that occurred overnight at Dutton Park.
Officers were called to Park Road shortly after 11pm following reports of a disturbance.
When police arrived, a 52-year-old man was located with a wound to his neck.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
Detectives are appealing to anyone that may have been in the area at the time or has dashcam and was in the vicinity of Park Road contact them.
Investigations are continuing.
