Police Investigate Sexual Assault At Cairns City

Officers from the Cairns Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) charged a 57-year-old Cairns North man yesterday 27 July, following an alleged incident on 13 April.

Police allege a 31-year-old Gold Coast woman attended a Lake Street business for a massage when he inappropriately touched the woman.

He was charged with three counts of sexual assault and is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on 10 August.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or further victims to come forward.
