Police investigate Southern Cross robbery

Melbourne Embona Taskforce detectives are investigating following a robbery at Southern Cross Railway Station in February.

Investigators have been told the victim, a 39-year-old Flemington man, was walking through the station when he was approached by two men around 1.15am on 21 February.

The two men bumped into the victim and demanded that he hand over any cash he had on him.

They also threatened him saying that he would be hurt if he didn’t comply with their demand.

The victim handed over an amount of cash and the two men walked off.

Investigators have released images of two men they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
