A man is being treated in hospital following a stabbing in Sydney’s west overnight.
Emergency services were called to a park on Rosewall Place at Shalvey about 10.10pm (Wednesday 1 May 2019), after reports a man had been stabbed.
A 39-year-old Shalvey man was found suffering a stab wound to his thigh. He was taken to Westmead Hospital where he is reported to be in a stable condition.
Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene and are conducting inquiries.
No arrests have yet been made, however inquiries into the incident continue.
