Police Investigate Suspicious Car Fire In Shepparton

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information following a car fire in Shepparton last week.

It is understood a group of unknown offenders attended a property on Westmorland Crescent and set fire to a Holden Statesman on Tuesday 13 February about 12.15am.

The offenders then set fire to the passenger door of their own car, a dark-coloured Holden sedan, before fleeing the scene in it.

They were last seen heading towards Archer Street.

Investigators have released CCTV images of the fire damaged vehicle, while it’s being driven along the road, in the hope it will assist the investigation.
