Police are investigating a suspicious shop fire in Essendon North this morning.
Emergency services were called to the blaze on Keilor Road shortly after 3am.
The nail salon sustained moderate damage.
There were no injuries reported.
About 100 people from a neighbouring apartment building were evacuated as a precaution.
The exact circumstances surrounding the fire at yet to be established however at this early stage, it’s believed this was a targeted attack.
