Detectives from Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit are investigating thefts which occurred at underground carparks in Footscray this month.
It’s understood two women entered an underground carpark on Cowper Street and stole items from multiple vehicles around 6pm on 11 July.
It is believed the same two women entered an underground carpark on Saltriver Place and again stole items from several vehicles, before stealing a black Hyundai Getz bearing the registration AYQ543 between 8pm on 11 July and 11am on 12 July.
Officers continue to investigate the thefts and have released images of two women who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
