Westgate Divisional Response Unit detectives are investigating a home invasion in Truganina last month.
It is understood four unknown male offenders gained access to a property on Fiore Way about 9pm on Tuesday, 11 August.
Once inside the property, the offenders confronted two occupants in a hallway.
One resident, a 35-year-old man, was threatened with a machete while demands were made for cash.
He sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The second occupant, a 40-year-old woman, was not physically injured during the incident.
The group rummaged through a number of rooms, before fleeing the scene with multiple pieces of gold jewellery.
It is understood the group arrived and left in a silver Holden Commodore.
Despite a thorough search of the area, the offenders were not located.
Detectives have released CCTV of a silver/grey Holden Commodore and multiple offenders dressed in black to assist with their investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
