Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating after an incident in Whittington overnight where a man was shot.
Emergency services were called to Freesia Court to reports a man had sustained a gun-shot wound about 5.40pm on Wednesday, 22 March.
A 55-year-old Whittington man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are searching for a man who was seen leaving the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined however police believe this was a targeted attack and parties involved are known to each other.
