Police investigate Windsor assault

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an assault in Windsor earlier this month.

Police understand two groups of males were involved in an altercation at the intersection of High Street and Chapel Street about 12.05am on 5 December.

As a result, a 25-year-old man from Officer received serious head injuries, a broken nose and bruising to the face and body which required hospital treatment.

Police have released images of three men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The first man has short dark hair and was wearing grey pants, a grey jumper and black runners.

The second man was wearing blue jeans, a white jumper, black shoes and a black cap.

The third man has short dark hair and a beard, and was wearing light coloured jeans, a white jumper and white shoes.
