An investigation is underway after a man was shot in Sydney’s south west today.
About 12.40pm (Tuesday 29 September 2026), emergency services were called to a unit block on Charles Street, Liverpool, after reports of a shooting.
On arrival, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command located a 32-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital for further treatment.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
