Police investigating after three pedestrians struck in Riverstone

Police are investigating after a car collided with three pedestrians and a parked car in Sydney’s west today.

About 12.45pm (Tuesday 12 November 2019), emergency services were called to Piccadilly Street, near Elizabeth Street, at Riverstone, following reports a Holden Barina sedan had struck three pedestrians – a 56-year-old woman in a wheelchair and two men, aged 43 and 60 – as well as a parked car.

The woman was taken to Blacktown Hospital in a stable condition. The 60-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene, while the second man, 43, was not injured.

The driver and single occupant of the vehicle, a 58-year-old man, was flown to Westmead Hospital.

Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
