An investigation is underway following the death of a woman in Sydney’s west.
About 2.30pm today (Sunday 18 December 2022), emergency services were called to a home on Borrowdale Way, Cranebrook, after a woman was located with serious injuries inside a home.
The 31-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
Police have been told the woman does not live at the home; however, is known to the occupants.
As inquiries continue, detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area, or who has information that can assist, to come forward.
