Tasmania Police is investigating a series of fires along Sawpit Hill Rd at Blessington.
About 10 fires were discovered along a 10km stretch of Sawpit Hill Rd yesterday.
Police closed the road to all but local residents, service vehicles and emergency service vehicles until the fire was brought under control.
It is believed the fires were deliberately lit and police are following a specific line of inquiry.
