Police investigating enter with intent at Fortitude Valley

Fortitude Valley detectives are appealing to the public for assistance in an investigation into an enter with intent offence on the evening of April 1.

At approximately 6pm a man has entered a Brunswick Street building and set off a fire hydrant in a stairwell before running from the scene.

This caused an estimated $500,000 of damage to both private residences and retail outlets in the building.

Police are releasing CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the offence.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance with a solid build and brown hair.

Police urge the man or anyone who may recognise him or have information relating to the incident, to please come forward.
