Police investigating robbery at Wacol

Police are investigating following a robbery at Wacol yesterday, February 17.

Initial investigations indicate just before 3am, three people entered an Ipswich Road service station where they threatened an employee, demanding cash, cigarettes and keys.

The staff member complied and was not physically injured.

The trio left the scene in a Kia Carnival station wagon, with a quantity of cigarettes, cash and the employee’s Kia Rio sedan, which has not been located.

At approximately 3.30am, an abandoned Kia Carnival was located burnt out along Government Road at Richlands.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
