Police are investigating a serious crash involving a pedestrian in Devonport this morning.
The woman was reportedly struck by a Ford Ranger ute while crossing the road at the intersection of Fenton Street and Steele Street about 6:45am.
She received medical treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The man driving the ute was not physically injured and is assisting police with the investigation.
The intersection was closed for two hours while specialist police units examined the crash scene.
Police would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding regarding the road closures.
