Detectives are investigating after two men were stabbed in Biggera Waters early this morning.
Preliminary inquiries indicate around 4.30am two men have attended a Marine Parade residence and thrown accelerant at the front glass door.
It is believed several people who were inside the unit have come out onto the footpath and started an altercation with the two men.
During the altercation a 22-year-old Redland Bay man received four stab wounds to his abdomen and chest. A 42-year-old Redland Bay man received two small stabs wounds to his face and one to his left torso.
Both men self-presented at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
