Police investigating wounding at Darra

A man is expected to be charged after the alleged stabbing of another man at Darra yesterday afternoon.

It will be alleged around 4pm a disturbance occurred between a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old man at a residence on Scotts Road.

The 18-year-old man sustained significant wounds to his neck and torso during the altercation and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

A 19-year-old Darra man was taken into custody at the scene and has since been assisting police with their inquiries.

He is due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court today (September 7).

Investigations are continuing.
