Police investigating wounding at Glenorchy bus mall 3 September

Police are investigating a reported wounding in the Glenorchy bus mall this afternoon.

Emergency services were called about 3pm, following a disturbance between two groups of people.

An 18-year-old man was reportedly wounded by a 28-year-old man. The two are believed to be known to each other.

Police provided treatment to the 18-year-old man until paramedics arrived and transported him to the Royal Hobart Hospital where he was assessed and later discharged.

Police commenced an investigation utilising specialist resources and closed the area for about an hour.

Police have identified the 28-year-old man and attempts to locate him are underway.
