Police investigating wounding at Kingston

Police have arrested a teenager, after a 15-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed at Kingston last night.

Around 6.00pm, a 15-year-old Waterford West boy was walking along a footpath on Juers Street, when it will be alleged he received a puncture wound to his right shoulder. The victim fled to seek help.

Paramedics attended the scene where they treated the boy, before he was transported to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.

Police also attended the scene where they located a 14-year-old Kingston boy at a nearby address.

Investigations continue.
