Police investigating wounding incident at Sunshine Coast

Police are investigating following a wounding incident on the Sunshine Coast overnight.

Around 1am three people were involved in a physical altercation out the front of a Kalowendha Avenue address in Pelican Waters.

The incident resulted in an 18-year-old Inala man sustaining lacerations to his abdomen and a 16-year-old Golden Beach boy sustaining lacerations to his arm and back.

Both were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A male then fled the scene on foot.

Anyone with vision or further information of the incident is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
