Police today continued their targeted response to the recent spate of OMCG related shootings and arsons with another 22 houses searched across the metropolitan area today.
Seven people were reported in relation to drug offences and a 57-year-old man with links to OMCG’s was arrested for drug trafficking offences at Yatala Labour Prison, Northfield and was bailed to appear in Adelaide Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
Detective Superintendent Mark Trenwith, Officer in Charge, Serious and Organised Crime Branch stated, “SA Police will not tolerate the types of incidents that we have seen in Adelaide over recent days where violent thugs have put innocent people at risk of injury or death. We will not stop until we bring those responsible to justice.”
