Police have charged two people following two armed robberies in Booval this morning, 13 July.
It will be alleged around 5.26am, officers were called to a business on Brisbane Road following reports two males had threatened staff with a knife before stealing the till.
Officers locate a 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old man around five minutes later Glebe Street, where they were taken into custody.
It will be further alleged the same two males had been involved in the similar armed robbery of a Brisbane Road business around 3.15am this morning.
No staff members in either incident were physically injured.
A 19-year-old Forestdale man and a 17-year-old Windsor boy have since been charged with two counts each of armed robbery.
The 19-year-old man is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court today, 13 July.
The 17-year-old boy is due to appear at Ipswich Children’s Court today, 13 July.
