Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 22-year-old Brookfield woman following a fatal collision in Sunshine on 7 November.
Officers were called to High Street about 3.10pm after reports a woman had been dragged by a vehicle before colliding with a parked car.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she later died.
A 22-year-old Brookfield woman was arrested about 7.45pm on Monday, 7 November.
She has been charged with dangerous drive cause death, fail to stop and fail to render assistance fatality.
She will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.
