Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of another man in Wycheproof last year.
The 26-year-old Wycheproof man has been charged with one count of manslaughter in relation to the alleged fatal assault that occurred at a sporting club on Broadway about 9.30pm on 30 August, 2019.
Paramedics worked on the 56-year-old Wycheproof man, however he died at the scene.
The 26-year-old will appear at Swan Hill Magistrates’ Court today.
Detectives are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
