Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an armed robbery in Frankston last month.
Officers responded to a shopping centre supermarket on Cranbourne Road, where it is alleged a woman was approached by a man armed with knife demanding cash, about 8am on 30 December 2023.
The woman handed over cash before the offender allegedly fled the scene on a bus.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
A 44-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested in Caulfield on Wednesday and has been charged with one count of robbery.
He has been bailed to appear before Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 19 February.
