Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man in relation to a death in Ivanhoe on 2 September.
Emergency services were called to a property on Linden Avenue about 6pm after the deceased man was located.
The 26-year-old man was arrested following a pursuit in Pakenham this morning.
He has been charged with one count of murder.
He will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
A 25-year-old Narre Warren man also arrested in Pakenham today remains in police custody.
