A Leopold man will be charged in relation to a hit-run in Leopold on 8 August.
A 13-year-old was riding his bike when he was hit by a sedan at the intersection of Dorothy Street and Allanvale Avenue about 4.40pm.
The victim was taken to hospital where he stayed overnight for observation.
He was lucky to escape with cuts and bruises.
The 19-year-old man presented himself to a police station this evening and has been interviewed.
He has been released and will be charged on summons with a number of offences including careless driving and failing to stop and render assistance.
