Northern Territory Police have charged a 41-year-old man following an aggravated assault in Winnellie yesterday afternoon.
It is alleged at about 4pm, the man has assaulted a 40-year-old woman with an edged weapon. She was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital for medical treatment.
The man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with:
- aggravated assault
- recklessly endanger serious harm – aggravated.
He has been remanded to appear before Darwin Local Court today.
