Northern Territory Police have served a notice to appear on a 32-year-old man for multiple offences following the execution of a search warrant at an address in Darwin’s northern suburbs.
Strike Force Trident members were assisted by the Dog Operations Unit in their search of the 2 storey residence.
Drug Dog Rafa made numerous conditioned responses during the search which resulted in the following items being located and seized:
- 4 x Mature cannabis plants
- A trafficable quantity of cannabis plant material
- $4750 in cash
- A less than trafficable quantity of methamphetamine
- CCTV equipment
- 2 x Hydroponics grow tents including lighting
- A mobile phone containing messages indicative of drug supply
The offender will appear on 27 March 2023 for the following:
- 1 x Cultivate cannabis
- 1 x Possess schedule 2 trafficable quantity
- 1 x Possess schedule 1 dangerous drug
