Police lay charges – Serious harm – Woodroffe

Northern Territory Police have charged a woman after a domestic violence incident in Woodroffe over the weekend.

Around 11pm on Saturday, police received reports of an altercation occurring between 3 women outside a residence in Altair Court, Woodroffe.

A 25-year-old allegedly assaulted a 28-year-old and an 18-year-old with a knife.

The 28-year-old suffered neck and shoulder injuries while the 18-year-old suffered head and thigh injuries.

The 25-year-old also suffered head injuries during the assaults before she fled the scene.

Police and St John Ambulance attended the scene where the alleged offender was arrested a short distance away.

Detectives from Domestic and Family Violence Unit have since charged the 25-year-old with 2 counts of Acts intended to cause serious harm. She has been further remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on the 29th November 2023.
