Northern Territory Police have charged a man after an alleged sexual assault in Moil yesterday.
Police received information at about 11:00am that a 48-year-old female victim was allegedly sexually assaulted in the vicinity of Moil Crescent, Moil.
Strike Force Trident and Sex Crimes Detectives initiated an investigation.
At 3:45pm, a 50-year-old male known to the victim was arrested and later charged with multiples sexual assault offences.
He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
Police continue to urge victims to reach out on 131 444 or in an emergency to call Triple Zero.
