Police have charged three people with nearly 100 drug trafficking related offences across the South Brisbane District.
On 2 September police from Upper Mount Gravatt and Riverside Tactical Crime Squads intercepted a woman driving a car on Logan Road in Holland Park, where it will be alleged the woman was located in possession of drugs.
Subsequent investigations led to a search warrant at an Edmonstone Street, South Brisbane address on the same day, where police allegedly seized suboxone strips, alleged drug cash and drug paraphernalia.
A 50-year-old Annerley woman has been charged with 40 offences including 12 counts of possessing dangerous drugs, three counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs and two counts of receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying cash.
She is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on 28 September.
During the search warrant at the Edmonstone Street address a second woman was located, where police allegedly seized gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) and gamma-butyrolactone (GBL), heroin, methylamphetamine, clonazepam and alleged drug cash.
A 38-year-old Highgate Hill woman has been charged with 42 offences including 25 counts of supplying dangerous drugs, six counts of possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs and two counts of proceeds of drug activity.
She is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 28 September.
On 4 September, police from Acacia Ridge intercepted a black Mazda 6 Sedan on Jackson Road in Sunnybank Hills allegedly travelling over the speed limit, where it will be alleged the man was located in possession of drugs.
The 36-year-old Lower Beechmont man fled the scene on foot and was located a short time later, and provided a positive drug test result.
Following investigations by Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigation Branch the man has been charged with 15 offences including five counts of possession of dangerous drugs, four counts of supplying dangerous drugs, and two counts of possessing anything for use in the commission of crime.
He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on 7 September.
