Malvern Police have arrested a 46-year-old East Malvern man in relation to an alleged aggravated burglary in East Malvern on Friday (17 May).
It is alleged the man gained entry to a residence on Emo Road, East Malvern about 4am and at this stage, a cordless phone is missing.
He later gained entry to another residence on Dandenong Road where he confronted the occupants and asked them to call 000.
The offender ran upstairs and hid in a bedroom.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man has been charged and bailed with trespass and criminal damage.
