Police have arrested a man after a short pursuit in Lang Lang this afternoon (5 November).
Police attempted to intercept a car on Westernport Road about 3.15pm.
The man allegedly drove towards a group of people, forcing an unmarked police vehicle to hit it to stop it from hitting the group.
The driver attempted to flee the area on foot and was arrested nearby.
The 18-year-old Caldermeade man received minor injuries and was taken to hospital where he is under police guard.
The investigation remains ongoing.
