Police make arrest after Melton South indecent act

Detectives from Brimbank Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team have arrested a man fallowing an alleged indecent act in Melton South last week.

It is alleged the man approached a number of young girls in the Bill Cahill Reserve, near Hume Avenue, on 2 November.

Today detectives arrested and interviewed a 20-year-old Melton South man.

He has been released from custody and is expected to be charged on summons with sexual activity in the presence of a child under 16 years old.
