Police have arrested a man following an alleged fatal stabbing in Point Cook on 13 August.
It is believed an altercation allegedly took place between two men outside accommodation on Point Cook Road about 2.45pm.
Sadly, one of the men died at the scene.
A 28-year-old Diggers Rest man was arrested nearby and is assisting police with their enquiries.
It is believed the parties were known to each other.
Homicide Squad are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
