Fremantle Detectives have charged a 36-year-old man as a result of their investigation into an incident that occurred in Beeliar on Tuesday 20 October 2020, in which a woman received serious injuries.
It is alleged around 10am, the man went to a home on Paw Lane and assaulted a woman in her 40s with a knife. She received serious injuries and was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment.
The woman’s teenage son came to her assistance and it is alleged the man fled the home.
The man was apprehended by police around 7.30pm on 20 October 2020 in Kiara.
The 36-year-old man from Lockridge has been charged with:-
• Attempt to Unlawfully Kill.
He is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court today, 23 October 2020.
