A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to multiple criminal offences across Alice Springs.
The man, who had been actively avoiding police, was wanted in relation to a dangerous driving incident in which he failed to stop during a traffic pursuit with police on 25 February.
It is alleged that on 1 March the man caused criminal damage to a Sadadeen property before unlawfully entering and stealing items from within the premises.
It is further alleged the man threatened a witness in relation to this incident.
Investigations by Strike Force Viper lead to the man being located and arrested by police yesterday morning.
The man was taken to the Alice Springs Watch House where he was charged with one count each of Disqualified driving, Drive manner dangerous during pursuit, Damage to property, Robbery and Interfere with witness.
The man has been remanded in custody to appear before court on 30 March, 2022.
