Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to a domestic violence assault.
Around 1pm yesterday, police received reports a 34-year-old woman had been assaulted and was unconscious at an address in Fawcett Court, Malak.
The woman was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital with a significant head injury.
An 38 -year-old man, known to the woman, was arrested nearby and remains in police custody.
Detectives from Major Crime are investigating the incident and are urging anyone who witnessed the assault to make contact on 131 444 and quote reference 24030948.
