Police make arrest over chemist break and enters – Upper Coomera

Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy over two break and enters of the same chemist at Upper Coomera this week.

In the early hours of September 15 and 16 the glass front doors of a Brygon Drive chemist were allegedly smashed to gain entry and a quantity of prescription drugs were stolen.

A piece of wood was allegedly used on one occasion and a brick on the other to gain entry.

Police investigations led them to execute a search warrant on an Upper Coomera house where the teenager was located.

A 17-year-old from Upper Coomera has been charged with two counts of enter premises and one count of possess utensil.
