Arson Squad detectives have charged a man as a result of their investigation into a house fire in Port Kennedy on Monday, 31 August 2026.
It will be alleged the man deliberately set fire to a home on Endeavour Drive. A female occupant was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment of burns sustained during the incident.
A 58-year-old Rockingham man has been charged with:
• 1 x Attempted Unlawfully to Kill
• 1 x Criminal Damage by Fire
He is due to appear before Rockingham Magistrates Court today, Friday 4 September 2026.
