Arson Squad Detectives have charged two boys after a significant fire at a Primary School located on Sage Road in Thornlie on Wednesday 9 March 2022.
It will be alleged the boys gained entry to the school grounds before lighting fires in various areas of the school, including a garden area and a computer room.
It will be alleged the fire destroyed a computer room at the school and the damage bill is estimated at $500,000.
A 14-year-old boy from Thornlie has been charged with:-
• One count of Criminal Damage by fire
• One count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit
He is next due to appear in Armadale Children’s Court on 11 April 2022.

Both boys were also charged with several offences relating to other incidents in the Thornlie area.
