Northern Territory Police have arrested a man following an assault in Moil overnight.
At around 8pm, the Joint Emergency Service Communication Centre received a report of a disturbance outside a residence on Linde Street.
Upon arrival, a 31-year-old man was located with facial and head injuries. He was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital for urgent treatment and is currently in a stable condition.
The 31-year-old male offender, a known relative to the victim, was located and taken to Palmerston Watch House.
A crime scene has been established while detectives are investigating the matter.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Jon Beer said, “Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident. Please quote reference number 9906668.”
