Strike Force Trident have arrested a man after the attempted resale of beer kegs stolen in Rapid Creek earlier this month.
The kegs were stolen from a licensed premises on Casuarina Drive, Rapid Creek, on 5 July 2023.
Police received information that an alleged offender was attempting to sell the kegs on Facebook.
Detectives from Strike Force Trident executed a search warrant on the man’s residence in Coconut Grove and the kegs were recovered. The offender was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property and the Unauthorised Sale of Liquor.
He is due to appear in Darwin Local Court on 26 July 2023.
