Northern Territory Police have arrested 2 men in relation to an aggravated robbery in Nightcliff yesterday.
Around 6:25pm, police received reports that 2 males and 4 females entered a business on Dick Ward Drive, Coconut Grove and stole a quantity of alcohol.
One male offender allegedly physically assaulted a security guard before the group fled the scene.
Detectives from Serious Crime took carriage and after reviewing CCTV, identified 2 men aged 22 and 23, who was arrested earlier today. Both currently remain in custody and are expected to be charged this evening.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Trent Abbott said “Investigators are currently working to identify and arrest the remaining offenders, and urge anyone with information to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 24021718.”
