Police make arrests over robbery – Wynnum West

Two men have been charged following investigations into the alleged robbery at a residence in Primrose Parade, Wynnum West on Sunday August 9.

It is alleged the men entered the residence whilst armed with knives and stole property including a motor vehicle belonging to one of the victims.

Investigations by Wynnum detectives resulted in the recovery of the vehicle and other items belonging to the victim.

A 33-year-old Paddington man was arrested on Monday August 10 and charged with armed robbery, enter with intent, deprivation of liberty, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and drug offences.

A 33-year-old Brisbane City man was arrested yesterday August 11, and charged with armed robbery, enter with intent, deprivation of liberty, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of a weapon and drug offences.

Both men will appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on August 12.
