Police officer suspended in Northern Region, QLD

A 52-year-old male constable has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service following allegations of workplace harassment.

The officer had been previously stood down and placed under investigation by the QPS when the allegations first became known.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.

This does not mean the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
